Israeli Army Issues Statement

The Israeli Defense Forces will resume military operations against the Palestinian Hamas movement immediately after the end of the ceasefire, stated Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.

"We do not intend to, do not want to, and are not ready to stop these efforts until we have returned all the hostages. It is our moral duty to bring them back. Immediately after the end of the ceasefire, we will return to strikes in Gaza. We will do everything to eliminate Hamas and exert strong pressure for the return of as many hostages as possible," he said.
