Dmitry Peskov: We Have Heard Many Hysterical Statements in Recent Years
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that today there were "very hysterical" statements coming from Prague, which do not reflect well on the leadership of the Czech Republic. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Peskov made these comments in response to statements from Czech President Petr Pavel, who had earlier declared that not only the Czech Republic but all of NATO views Russia as Europe's number one threat.
“In the last year or even several years, we have heard many hysterical statements from Prague. Such hysterical moods do not color the leadership of the Czech Republic. Well, that is the generation of politicians they have in power. This is more of their misfortune than ours,” Peskov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
