Snow Depth in Shirak Province Reaches 10-15 cm; Ground Snow in Some Road Sections

As of 16:00 on November 20, there is significant ground snow on the roads in the regions of Ashotsk, Amasia, Akhuryan, Ani, and Artik of Shirak Province.

This information has been provided by the Shirak Provincial Administration. The interstate, national, and provincial roads in Armenia are open. However, in some sections of the roads, there is black ice on the roadway, and in certain areas, snow depth reaches 10-15 cm.

Companies responsible for road maintenance are actively working on snow removal and treating the roads with salt and sand.
