Why Samvel Shahramanyan Met with Former Presidents of Armenia

The President of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, recently met with the first and second Presidents of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan. This was reported by the newspaper "Hraparak."

It is noted that the meetings were held separately and were of a ceremonial nature. The discussions primarily focused on the situation in Artsakh up until September 19, the one-day war, and the evacuation of Artsakh residents, with little to no mention of the future, according to the newspaper.

According to the report, after arriving in Armenia, Shahramanyan also met with the third President, Serzh Sargsyan. No official statements were released regarding these meetings, presumably to avoid political speculation, while the Artsakh information headquarters deems it necessary to inform about Shahramanyan's meeting with representatives of an unknown NGO.
