Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Gevorg Simonian Resigns

The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Gevorg Simonian, has announced his resignation on social media.

“I have the honor to inform you that today, my last working day, I was awarded the Golden Medal of the Mayor of Yerevan by Mayor Tigran Avinyan for effective work and diligent activity. During my time as Deputy Mayor, I have fulfilled my responsibilities with great commitment and dedication, striving to contribute to the smooth functioning and sustainable development of our Yerevan through daily hard work. Over the past few years, we have overcome many challenging issues, solving numerous large and small seemingly insurmountable problems for the sake of our city and its citizens. I thank all my colleagues at the Yerevan City Hall for their effective work and cooperation,” he wrote.
