We go to where we consider it important: Armen Grigoryan on not holding talks with Baku in Moscow
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated on Public Television that Armenia is ready to continue negotiations with Azerbaijan and sign a peace agreement by the end of the year.
“There is also the possibility of continuing negotiations at another level in Washington, Armenia is willing, and I hope such a meeting will take place,” he noted, adding that the potential meeting was discussed during a recent visit by State Department spokesperson Louis Bono to the region.
When asked why Yerevan refuses to continue negotiations with Baku in Moscow, Grigoryan said, “We go to where we consider it important, where we currently see opportunities and where clear proposals have been made to us.”
