Protesters Greet OSCE PA Delegates with Shouts of 'Shame'

Protesters from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) greeted the delegates of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly with chants of 'shame' at Republic Square.

As previously reported, hundreds of lawmakers from 57 countries across Europe, Central Asia, and North America are currently in Armenia.

The OSCE PA delegates arrived at Republic Square, where a dinner is being hosted for them in the building of the National Gallery. The goal of the protest, according to participants, is to convey to the more than 300 delegates of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly that Armenia is not a bastion of democracy and that representatives of the former authorities of Artsakh are in prisons in Baku with the silent consent of the OSCE.
