VIDEO: The Issue Was to Ensure That Artsakh Residents Do Not Sleep in Their Cars, Says Masis Mayor
In a conversation with reporters, Masis Mayor Davit Hambardzumyan responded to a question about why many residents from Artsakh preferred to come to Masis. He stated, “There are several factors that have led to a significant number of Artsakh residents settling in Masis.”
“Many Artsakh residents settled in Masis during the war in the 1990s. Following that, during the 44-day war, Artsakh residents came to Masis as they were coming through relatives. The most important factor is the warm attitude of our team members. We were tasked with ensuring that the Artsakh residents do not feel alien and do not sleep in their cars. Thank God, we managed to organize that,” said the mayor.
He also added that 12,000 Artsakh residents have settled in Masis. For more details, watch the video.
