VIDEO: How Surik Khachatryan's Son Was Taken from His Villa

The officers of the Main Criminal Police Department carried out extensive operational-search measures and obtained credible information that the wanted Tigran Kh.-an, who is being sought on several counts of the criminal code, is hiding in a villa on Ulnetsi Street in Yerevan. This was reported in a video published by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

As a result of subsequent measures and investigative actions, he was located in the hideout of the villa on November 9 and was presented to the investigative body.

On June 19 of this year, at 21:40, the police received a report from the Goris Medical Center that a man with a gunshot wound had sought medical assistance. Through the operational-search measures undertaken, it was determined that he received the injury during a dispute with the aforementioned Tigran at a car service point on the Goris Artsakh Highway, as a result of a shot fired from a firearm that he was unlawfully carrying.

It should be recalled that earlier the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia reported that the wanted Tigran Khachatryan had been located and arrested. The Investigative Committee had previously informed on June 22, 2023, that public criminal prosecution had been initiated against T. Khachatryan under part 1 of Article 335, point 7 of part 2 of Article 171, and part 3 of Article 297 of the RA Criminal Code.
