Xavi: 'There is an impression we are losing ground, but that's not the case'

Barcelona's head coach Xavi disagrees with the notion that the team is experiencing a decline this season. After 13 rounds, Barcelona is in third place in La Liga, trailing leaders Girona by 4 points.

"I never see the situation as negative. I don't know if this is good or bad. I don't like to see my players not having fun on the pitch. Last season we played much worse than we are now. Maybe there is an impression that we are losing ground, but that is not the case. I try to maintain calm and peace," Xavi's words were quoted by Marca.
