Boxer Ruslan Aslikyan Defeats Azerbaijani Rival to Become European Champion

Armenian boxer Ruslan Aslikyan, competing in the 57 kg weight class, triumphed over Azerbaijani Azrak Babirov at the European U22 Championship, clinching the title of European champion.

Meanwhile, in the 51 kg category, boxer Rudolf Garboyan lost in the finals and secured a silver medal. Thus, the Armenian boxing team concluded their participation in the U22 European Championships held in the city of Budva, Montenegro.

In total, the Armenian team achieved 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 3 bronze medals at the European Championship for boxers under the age of 22.
