Peskov Comments on Zelensky's Statement About 'Positive Changes by Year-End'
Vladimir Zelensky and the Kyiv regime are desperately promising successes. Their previous promises have not materialized, donors are growing concerned, and thus Kyiv is 'raising the level of rhetoric.' This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.
'Zelensky and the Kyiv regime are essentially desperately promising military successes on the battlefield, promising their donors. Their previous promises have not been fulfilled. Donors are worried and starting to tremble, accordingly, Zelensky has no choice but to raise his level of rhetoric to convince them that these successes will happen,' Peskov said, commenting on Zelensky's words for reporters.
Recall that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated that a compromise is unacceptable for Ukraine, which still does not want Russia to be in any way involved in the discussions of a possible settlement. Zelensky expressed hope that 'there will be positive changes for Ukraine by the end of the year.'
