Significant Progress in Military Cooperation with France, Says National Security Secretary
Recently, there has indeed been intensive dialogue with the EU and EU countries. This was stated today by Armenia's National Security Secretary Armen Grigoryan during the "Armenia-Europe" conference taking place in Brussels.
"There has indeed been intensive dialogue with the EU and EU countries recently. New opportunities have emerged, which are of various kinds. Perhaps, on the topic of security, we have never had such intensive dialogue with the West, with Europe before. We have registered significant progress in military cooperation with France, and we have expectations that we will be able to strengthen our security cooperation with both collective Europe and individual countries. Moreover, I am not only referring to military aspects. I can even say that our economic cooperation can have a security component in its subtext and strengthen the security of Armenia. Armenia is ready for this," said Grigoryan.
Referring to the Prime Minister's speech at the European Parliament, the National Security Secretary noted that one of its main messages is that Armenia is as ready as Europe is. "We have shown a will to move forward in terms of cooperation," Grigoryan emphasized.
