US Continues to Purchase Uranium from Russia: Lavrov

The United States continues to buy uranium and other important materials from Russia, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Forcing the EU to renounce everything Russian, Washington continues to purchase uranium and other critical materials from Russia,” Lavrov said during a roundtable discussion on the resolution of the situation surrounding Ukraine.

At the same time, he emphasized that the US is “forcing” European companies to abandon Russian energy resources in favor of expensive American liquefied natural gas under “its egoistic regulations.”
