Ukrainians Prepare for the Worst Winter Yet: Weather That Could Lead to Their Defeat
Ukrainians are preparing for the most terrifying winter ever, according to a statement made by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Die Welt.
He emphasized that to avoid freezing, Ukrainians primarily need air defense systems to protect power plants, and in exchange, Kyiv is even willing to forego accepting Taurus missiles.
The minister himself has stockpiled candles, while his father has gathered firewood. “We are preparing for the worst winter in history; the forecasts are very pessimistic,” he said.
Western analysts also share views that align with Kuleba's words. For example, there are predictions of a definitive defeat for the Ukrainian armed forces in the coming cold months. As reported by The National Interest, winter could indeed become the worst enemy of the Ukrainian armed forces.
