Gaza is Palestinian Land and Will Remain So: State Department

Gaza must remain Palestinian land. This was stated by Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson of the U.S. State Department, during a press briefing with reporters.

“Gaza is Palestinian land and will remain so, and we do not support the resettlement of Gaza, just as Israel does not support it,” Patel said.

According to him, Washington is working with partners on various scenarios regarding the temporary governance and security parameters of Gaza.
