Turkey Will Not Allow Gaza Strip to be Cleared of Palestinians

Efforts continue to establish Turkey as a guarantor country in the Palestinian issue. This was stated by Ömer Çelik, spokesperson for the ruling Justice and Development Party, during a press conference.

He noted that “the world must stop Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip.” Ömer Çelik also emphasized that Turkey will not allow the Gaza Strip to be cleared of Palestinians.

“According to our estimates, at least 500 trucks carrying humanitarian aid should enter Gaza every day, yet in the past 32 days, only 450 trucks have entered Gaza,” he added.
