The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, believes that the international community has a last chance for a long-term resolution of the Middle Eastern conflict, following yet another outbreak of violence between Palestinians and Israelis. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“It is now crucial to think about a definitive and comprehensive solution, which is currently unattainable... this is the last opportunity; if we fail to achieve a solution based on the coexistence of two states, we will find ourselves trapped in a cycle of violence and mutual hatred for generations to come,” Borrell stated during a speech at the conference of heads of EU diplomatic representations in Brussels.
