Number of Anti-Jewish Acts in the EU Since October 7 Revealed
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has announced that since October 7, more than a thousand anti-Jewish acts have been recorded in France alone. This information was reported by gazeta.ru.
Earlier, Borrell condemned Israel's strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. In his microblog on platform X, he stated that he was shocked by the number of civilian casualties.
Previously, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin revealed that since the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, there have been 1,040 recorded anti-Semitic acts in France. 'The number of anti-Semitic actions has significantly increased. More than 1,000 acts have been recorded in France — precisely 1,040. 486 individuals have been arrested,' he said during a broadcast on France 2.
According to Darmanin, of the total arrests, 102 individuals are foreign nationals, and their permissions to remain in France are being revoked, after which they are expected to be deported.
