Gaza City is Blockaded: IDF

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Daniel Hagari, has stated that Israeli forces have completed the encirclement of the northern part of Gaza City, according to the Haaretz newspaper.

He added that Israeli military personnel are "attacking Hamas positions, command posts, rocket launching sites, and infrastructure, while eliminating terrorists in close combat." Previously, representatives of the Israeli army had reported that troops were engaged in close battles with Hamas members who were launching attacks from underground tunnels.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, in the last few hours, 130 Hamas officials have been killed. Since the onset of ground operations in Gaza, approximately 20 Israeli soldiers have also lost their lives.
