VIDEO: Milan Flooded Due to Severe Storm in Northern Italy
A storm has hit northern Italy yesterday evening and early this morning. Torrential rain and strong winds in central Milan have caused flooding. Lake Como has overflowed its banks. Local media reports that due to heavy rain, the Seveso River has swelled, leading to neighborhood flooding and leaving thousands of residents without electricity. The nighttime storm lasted more than six hours, and the city's drainage system was unable to cope with the large volume of water.
