Israeli Airstrike Kills Hamas Commander in Jabalia

Israel has confirmed the strike on Jabalia. This was reported by the Russian service of the BBC.

During a briefing, Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari confirmed that Israeli fighter jets targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza. He stated that as a result, one of the commanders of Hamas was killed, and the organization's underground infrastructure was destroyed.

According to Tsahal, Hamas central Jabalia brigade commander Ibrahim Biari has been killed. The BBC has not yet been able to verify this claim.

These events were mentioned in a statement from the Israeli Defense Forces. Another Israeli Defense representative, Richard Hecht, made a similar statement during a CNN broadcast. “We are investigating this and will publish additional data when we know what happened there,” Hecht’s words are quoted by Reuters.
