Russia Is Recruiting Women to Send to Ukrainian Front, UK Ministry of Defense
The Russian private military company "Redut," supported by the state and linked to military intelligence, is recruiting women to send to the Ukrainian front. This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense on its page on X social network.
Specifically, this recruitment concerns the "Borza" battalion. On social media, women recruits are encouraged to join this battalion as snipers and drone operators.
British intelligence reminds that in March of this year, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the deployment of 1,100 women in Ukraine.
According to advertisements circulated by "Redut," they are primarily performing medical support and public catering functions.
