Netanyahu Outlines Israel's Stance on Ceasefire with Hamas
Israel will not agree to a ceasefire with the Palestinian Hamas movement, as this would mean surrendering to "terrorism and barbarism," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during a press briefing on Monday, October 30.
He emphasized that following the Hamas attack on October 7, Israel would not consent to a ceasefire, just as the United States did not agree to a ceasefire after the Pearl Harbor bombing or the September 11 attacks.
"Calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, surrender to terrorism, surrender to barbarism. That will not happen," the Prime Minister stated.
