Rosaviatsia Announces Closure of Makhachkala Airport
Rosaviatsia has announced the closure of Makhachkala Airport.
“Due to the unauthorized entry of individuals onto the runway of Makhachkala Airport, a decision has been made to temporarily close the airport for arrival and departure flights. The measures will remain in effect until the situation normalizes. Law enforcement agencies are on site. Airplanes that were scheduled to land in Makhachkala have been redirected to alternative airports,” the statement said.
