Medvedev Declares Russia and the EU Have Become Enemies
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has stated that the European Union has lost Russia as a long-term strategic partner and has become Moscow's "real enemy." He made this declaration on his VKontakte social media page.
"We are no longer even neighbors, but actual enemies. And now the EU is raving about Russia's complete unpredictability, constructing insane conspiracy theories, and spending astronomical amounts to maintain its security. The European Union has lost Russia as a long-term strategic partner. This does not please us, but it is a fact," Medvedev wrote.
According to him, Europe has become the "worst enemy" of the Russian Federation, spurred on by the United States. He believes that "great powers will agree sooner or later on how to live in the visible future under new conditions." At the same time, he added that there is no point in Russia starting a full-blown conflict with the U.S.
