"The West is Starting to Fear What Kind of Monster It Has Created in Ukraine": Lavrov
Russia is fully maintaining its ties with Israel and is sending signals about the need to seek a peaceful resolution. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“The outcome of direct negotiations for the creation of two states, Palestine and Israel, is hardly achievable at the moment. Russia is interested in ensuring that the West does not turn Central Asia into a platform to create threats against Russia, as it did earlier in the case of Ukraine.
The West is beginning to fear what kind of monster it has created in Ukraine. The destruction of Gaza and the expulsion of 2 million residents from the enclave will create a disaster for decades, if not centuries. Russia will do everything to ensure that Central Asia does not suffer from the actions of countries with less than pure intentions. The UN personnel in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone should be protected by special immunity, and the organization must take care of this,” Lavrov said.
