North Korean Munitions Are Already Arriving in Russia, British Intelligence
According to British intelligence in its daily summary, despite the Russian side denying the latest reports on the supply of North Korean munitions, they have "almost certainly" already reached Western storage facilities in Russia. These storage sites are being used to supply munitions to Russian troops stationed in Ukraine.
"If Pyongyang can maintain this level and speed of deliveries (over 1000 containers in recent weeks), it will become one of Russia's main foreign weapons suppliers, along with Iran and Belarus. It is unclear what Russia has agreed to offer North Korea in return," the report states. Intelligence officials view it as unlikely that the entire package has already been finalized, but it is probable that this has been discussed during the recent visits of senior Russian officials to North Korea.
Intelligence experts suggest that the package will likely include financial assistance, other economic support, provision of military technologies, and collaboration in other areas such as space reconnaissance," the summary notes.
