Violations Recorded for Artsakh Drivers in the Past Month to Be Annulled, Says Minister of Internal Affairs
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia has instructed the patrol service to adopt a lenient approach towards Artsakh drivers and not to draw up administrative reports. This was announced by Minister Vahe Ghazaryan during the governmental Q&A session in the National Assembly.
The minister noted that patrol officers should only issue warnings. This applies to the one-month period starting from September 21.
In response to a question about whether they could be more lenient towards Artsakh drivers and consider annulling imposed fines, Ghazaryan stated: "We do not have statistical data on the administrative reports related to vehicles driven by residents of Artsakh, but we do have cases of incidents causing property damage and bodily injuries. "
According to Ghazaryan, violations recorded by surveillance cameras during the specified one-month period will also be annulled.
