How will Armenia pay hundreds of millions of euros? Le Monde on French weapons
It remains unclear how Armenia will pay for military contracts signed with France, which could amount to several hundred million euros. This is reported by the French newspaper Le Monde, noting that French support includes the sale of radars and anti-aircraft missiles, as well as training.
“These are not arms supplies like the military assistance provided to Ukraine, but contracts whose total cost may reach several hundred million euros. However, how Yerevan will finance these contracts is still unknown,” the newspaper states.
It should be reminded that Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan and France's Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu signed documents on bilateral cooperation on October 23.
