Former US President Donald Trump confused Turkey with Hungary, and Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. He made this statement during his speech in New Hampshire, which was broadcast on C-SPAN.
“There’s a guy named Viktor Orbán, I don’t know if you’ve heard of him,” Trump said, adding, “He’s one of the strongest leaders in the world. He is the leader of Turkey.”
