Israeli Defense Forces Apologize to Egypt

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) accidentally fired upon an Egyptian position located at the border, the military of the Jewish state reported on their Telegram channel.

"The incident is under investigation, and details are being clarified. The IDF has expressed regret over the occurrence," the statement said.

It was noted that the incident occurred near the border in the Kerem Shalom area. Later, it became known that the IDF had apologized to Egypt, stating that the incident is being investigated.
