French Foreign Ministry on Azerbaijani-Turkish Military Exercises
The French Foreign Ministry is extremely vigilant regarding potential threats to the territorial integrity of Armenia. This was stated in a comment from the French Foreign Ministry in response to a question from the AFP news agency regarding the Azerbaijani-Turkish military exercises.
“As repeatedly noted by Europe and Foreign Affairs Minister Catherine Colonna, France will be extremely vigilant against any attempts to undermine Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement from the French Foreign Ministry emphasizes.
According to the ministry, these exercises are being conducted in the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan, which borders Armenia and Iran, as well as in “liberated areas,” the locations of which are not specified and may refer to Nagorno-Karabakh or adjacent Azerbaijani regions.
