VIDEO: Vladimir Solovyov Apologizes to Russian Foreign Ministry
Television host Vladimir Solovyov has apologized to the Russian Foreign Ministry, as well as to Maria Zakharova and Mikhail Bogdanov, regarding the interview conducted by Yevgeny Satanovsky.
On his Telegram channel, the television presenter stated that his colleague Yevgeny Satanovsky's remarks were "unfair and unacceptable." Solovyov confirmed that a decision has been made to remove Satanovsky from the Solovyov Live channel.
It is notable that a clip from Satanovsky's interview with an Israeli journalist has surfaced online. In it, the expert insults Maria Zakharova for her position and implies that he and Mikhail Bogdanov "drink a lot." He also condemned them for their "anti-Israeli statements."
"I want to apologize to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Bogdanov, and Ms. Zakharova for the absolutely unfair content and unacceptable statements made by our channel's employee Yevgeny Yanovich Satanovsky," said Vladimir Solovyov.
