VIDEO: "The ball is in the Turkish court on this matter," says Kostanyan

In a conversation with journalists, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan answered questions regarding the current phase of the Armenian-Turkish land border opening process and why it is being delayed.

“Agreements were reached last June between the special envoys of the two countries, Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilic. The agreement has been reaffirmed several times, including at the highest level, as well as during the visit of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Ankara after the earthquake. We are ready for the border to be opened both for citizens of third countries and for general traffic. The ball is in the Turkish court on this matter,” Kostanyan stated.
