Turkey Must Intervene in the Israel-Hamas Conflict, Says Erdogan's Ally

Turkish nationalist MP Devlet Bahceli has declared that Turkey must intervene in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

“If a ceasefire is not reached within 24 hours from today, if the attacks do not stop, if bombs are dropped on the oppressed, I openly share my people's opinion that Turkey must act swiftly and do what is necessary based on its historical, humanitarian and religious obligations. Our historical legacy is to fulfill the mission of protecting Gaza,” he stated.

According to him, the Gaza Strip has been living through a chain of humanitarian disasters for two weeks, and “the brutal attacks, which have reached the level of genocide, have already exceeded the limits of patience and tolerance.”
