Armenian Advocacy Group Calls on Next U.S. Ambassador in Israel to Halt Israeli Arms Sales to Azerbaijan

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has posted a message on its microblog, urging the nominee for U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Jacob Lew, to assist in halting Israeli arms sales to Azerbaijan.

“The Armenian National Committee of America requests that the next U.S. Ambassador in Israel align Israeli policies with core American priorities (preventing genocide, ensuring regional peace, respecting religious groups) and stop arms sales to Azerbaijan, recognize the Armenian Genocide, and prevent hate crimes,” the message states.
