Russian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Russian peacekeeping force continues to carry out its missions in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Ongoing cooperation with Baku is maintained, aimed at preventing bloodshed, ensuring security, and upholding humanitarian law for the civilian population.

No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. Since September 19, 2023, 24 observation posts for peacekeepers have been closed in the Askeran, Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions.
