Judge Threatens to Jail Trump
Judge Arthur Engoron, who presides over the fraud case involving former US President Donald Trump, has threatened to jail the former president for violating a court order, according to RIA Novosti referencing NBC News.
"The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s $250 million fraud trial in New York raised the possibility of the former president's imprisonment because Trump failed to comply with an order requiring him to delete his social media post regarding a court staff member," the report states.
Engoron indicated that Trump had made a false and derogatory statement about the court staff member on social media.
