American Warship Intercepts Several Houthi Missiles and Drones, Pentagon Reports

The USS Carney, a United States Navy warship located near the shores of Yemen, has intercepted three missiles and several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that Houthi forces from Yemen were likely planning to use against Israeli targets. This was stated by Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Ryder.

According to Ryder, the intercepted missiles and drones may have been launched towards Israel from Yemen.

He noted that the destroyer managed to intercept three cruise missiles and several UAVs, suggesting that these projectiles were aimed at Israeli territory.
