Aliyev Discusses Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Agreement with State Department Representative

On October 20, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev hosted Joshua Hekin, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. State Department for European and Eurasian Affairs.

According to the Azerbaijani leader's website, the meeting included an exchange of views on ensuring peace and stability in the region and the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Aliyev once again expressed Azerbaijan's intentions regarding the regional peace agenda, the normalization of relations with Armenia, the continuation of negotiations on the peace agreement, and the signing of the agreement in the near future.
