Israeli Ambassador and Other Diplomats Leave Turkey Amid Security Concerns

Israel has decided to recall all its diplomats from Turkey, including the ambassador, due to security considerations. Turkish NTV television and other media outlets report that Israeli Ambassador Irit Lillian has already left Turkey along with other Israeli diplomats.

According to Reuters, the Israeli embassy declined to comment on these reports. Earlier this week, the Israeli National Security Council urged its citizens in Turkey to leave the country immediately. In response to this warning, Israeli airlines organized flights from Istanbul late Wednesday for Israelis wishing to depart from Turkey.
