Russian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to address issues in Nagorno-Karabakh. Since September 19, 8 and 16 temporary observation posts of Russian peacekeepers have been established in the Askeran, Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"To ensure traffic safety, 14 checkpoints have been set up along the roadways, including 8 jointly with the Azerbaijani side," the statement reads.
