Negotiations Between the Republican Party and the Civil Contract Have Concluded: Positions Distributed

The negotiations between the Republican Party and the Civil Contract have concluded, and positions have been distributed. This was reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'. It is noted that after a long search, they have also found a candidate for the Davtashen district mayor — economist Albert Hovhassanian, a member of Aram Sargsyan's party, about whom there is little information, except for one or two posts against Robert Kocharyan.

'We were told that Hovhassanian has led the party's electoral headquarters in various years and has coordinated election processes,' the newspaper writes.

It has already been reported that Romik Mkrtchyan, the head of the Yerkrapah Volunteers' Union in the Central territorial structure, will be appointed as the district mayor in Malatia-Sebastia, while Tigran Ter-Margaryan, known for his controversial posts, will take on the role in Nor Nork.

'It can be said that a decision has also been made regarding the deputy mayor; this position will be occupied by the second on the list, Sargis Madatyan, who is the nephew of the 'Choochuch Edo'. Ani Khachatryan will become the faction leader, while Artak Zeynalyan will fill a position in the Constitutional Court by the end of the year,' the newspaper reports.

Recall that on October 10, the first session of the newly elected Yerevan Council was held, where the Civil Contract and Republic factions elected Tigran Avinyan as the mayor of Yerevan. After the session, a cooperation memorandum was signed between the two factions.
