‘Putin has never forgiven and will never forgive you’: Saakashvili offers advice to Pashinyan

Former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili has reached out to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan through a post on the X social media platform, warning of threats stemming from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Stating that Pashinyan came to power as a result of "popular speeches, or in Putin's terminology, a color revolution," the third president of Georgia assures that "he has never forgiven and will never forgive you."

"Especially after your recent statements, political moves, and particularly after the ratification of the Rome Statute, he is your mortal enemy and will seek to overthrow you with all his capabilities—by encouraging internal unrest and military operations," wrote Saakashvili.

Pointing out that Pashinyan has little time, the former Georgian president continues: "As difficult as it may be for you, the recent events around Armenia give our region a new chance. In time, we could live like the three Baltic countries. But for that, you must hurry and throw away any hesitation, go all in. You need to demand the immediate withdrawal of the Russian military base, exit the CIS, CSTO, customs union, and apply for the European Union and NATO."

“And finally, you must declare and immediately sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, thus opening the way for fundamental changes in Armenia's internal and external policies,” writes Mikheil Saakashvili.

“I hope you do not allow Putin to destroy you while simultaneously destroying your country and ultimately destabilizing our region,” emphasizes the former president of Georgia.
