Israel Made Warning Call One Hour Before the Explosion, Says Palestinian Ambassador in Japan

Israel made a warning call one hour before the "explosion" that occurred at one of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip. This statement was made by Walid Ali Siam, the Palestinian ambassador in Japan, as reported by Reuters, citing TASS.

The Baptist hospital in Gaza was hit on the evening of October 17. The attack on the hospital has resulted in hundreds of casualties. Footage showing the aftermath of the airstrike on the hospital in the Gaza Strip has also been released.

Palestine accuses Israel of the attack. The Israeli army stated that it is investigating the incident and links what happened to an unsuccessful rocket launch by the Islamic Jihad. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israeli military forces did not strike the hospital and that the responsibility for the incident rests with the "barbaric terrorists of the Gaza Strip." Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called the attack an "Israeli military crime" and declared a three-day mourning.

It should be noted that the Israeli side released footage to prove that the missile strike on Al Ahli hospital in Gaza was not carried out by the Israeli Defense Forces, as otherwise, the explosion would have left a large crater, while neighboring buildings were not damaged, only a fire spread.
