“In 2025, Licensing Will Be a Requirement for Doctors to Work,” Says Avanesyan

Presenting the legislative amendments regarding the mandatory licensing of healthcare workers, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan detailed that by 2027, a licensing process for existing healthcare workers must be conducted, so that by January 1, everyone is prepared, has a license, and can continue their work.

“After 2025, all university graduates will need to obtain a license before entering the workforce, rather than waiting until 2027. This means, according to the minister, that starting in 2025, the mandatory licensing requirement will come into effect as a prerequisite for entering the job market,” she stated.
