Citizen Attempts Suicide by Jumping from Victory Bridge

On October 18 at 11:58 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen intended to commit suicide by jumping from the Victory Bridge in Yerevan.

Emergency responders from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' fire and rescue squad were dispatched to the scene, along with a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department. Together with police officers, the rescuers successfully prevented the citizen from attempting suicide.
