19-Year-Old Jumps to His Death from Kiev Bridge

A tragic incident occurred today, October 14, in Yerevan. At around 18:10, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received a report that a citizen had jumped off the Kiev Bridge.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and patrol officers discovered the body of a young man under the Kiev Bridge. Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Mashtots Police Station found that the deceased was 19-year-old Robert T., a resident of Yerevan.

At this moment, police and patrol officers are waiting for a group from the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan City Investigative Department for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts to arrive at the scene, where a criminal case will be initiated regarding the incident.
