Armenian Prime Minister Does Not Specify Country; Deputy Foreign Minister on Pashinyan's Accusations

The Prime Minister of Armenia did not specify a particular country, stating only that we are disappointed with several allies. This was announced today by Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan during a press briefing at the National Assembly, while commenting on Nikol Pashinyan's accusations against allies in the European Parliament.

“Sensational statements were not made. No specific country was mentioned in the statement. Several of our allies were discussed... The first part talked about disappointment, but specific allies were not named,” said Hovhannisyan.

Regarding peacekeepers, the Deputy Foreign Minister noted that Armenia's disappointment concerning several of their actions has been voiced multiple times.

It is noteworthy that on October 17, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech at a plenary session of the European Parliament. He stated that while hundreds of thousands of Armenians were fleeing from Nagorno-Karabakh to the Republic of Armenia, allies in the security sector were not only failing to assist Armenia but were also making public calls for regime change and the overthrow of the democratic government during those days.
